Please give some mediocre financial advice on equities.

Sally asked:

My stock portfolio has been under-performing for almost as long as I have been investing in equities. Can you give me some mediocre financial advice, please ~ Sally

Advisor Jen answers: One of the best methods to guarantee good financial performance is to sell your stocks for more that you paid for them. Do it as often as possible. Find a broker willing to do this for you without charging any fees. Chances are good that you will come out ahead in the long run. In summary, buy equities at a low price and sell them at a high price. I hope this helps. If you can find somene to just give you large amounts of cash, life will also be more convenient.

  1. Well, this is mediocre advice at its finest. Buy low and sell high. Duh – what a concept.

Oh Sally, I am very sorry. Phil is unnecessarily rude to Jen. This isn’t the first time. On behalf of the other Directors, I apologize.

  2. Nonsense. I just call it the way I see it.

  3. Forget the stock market and buy lottery tickets. One big win could set you up for life!

But my advice is to watch the stars first. Luck and good fortune are associated with Jupiter — success, accomplishments and prosperity are all within Jupiter’s realm. Since it takes about 12 years to circle the zodiac you should wait until Jupiter visits your sign before buying lots of lottery tickets.

And if you’ve been to a Chinese restaurant lately, remember those numbers on the back of your fortune cookie message can also help bring financial reward.
